"Fingal's March, also known as "The Battle of Aughrim", "The Return from Fingal" or<br> "The March to the Battle" is an Irish march in E Dorian. The parts are usually played AB<br> but Ensemble Galilei repeats both parts and plays it AABB. <br> This is not the same tune as "Fingal's Cave March" in this section.<br> It was printed in Roche's Collection of Traditional Irish Music, vol. 3 (1927). <br> It was recorded by Ensemble Galilei on "Music in the Great Hall" (1992). <br>
